Who Was GG?

Guiddalthie “GG” Celius — A life that changed everything

Guiddalthie 'GG' Celius

Guiddalthie “GG” Celius

Taken Thanksgiving Night · South Florida
Forever In Our Hearts

Her Story

Guiddalthie Celius, known to everyone who loved her simply as GG, was the kind of person who made every room feel warmer the moment she walked in. She had a spirit that was impossible to ignore: joyful, faith-filled, and endlessly generous. Whether she was lifting a friend through a hard season, showing up for her community, or simply filling a space with laughter, GG left people better than she found them. That was just who she was.

On Thanksgiving night in South Florida, a drunk driver made a choice that no family should ever have to live with, and Guiddalthie's life was taken. She was young, full of faith and purpose, and had so much more love left to give. What was supposed to be a night of gratitude, family, and warmth became a night that shattered everything. No one who loved her was prepared for a world without her.

In the wake of unimaginable grief, her family and loved ones made a decision: her story would not end there. GG's Movement Inc. was founded in 2026 in Guiddalthie's honor, not as a memorial to loss, but as a living force for change. Every program we run, every pledge we collect, every young person we reach is a direct extension of her love. We refuse to let her light go out.

Her Light

Guiddalthie had a gift that cannot be taught. She walked into every room and made it brighter, every heart lighter, every stranger feel like family. Her warmth was contagious and her spirit was relentless. Though she was taken far too soon, her light was never something that could be extinguished. It burns in every program we run, every pledge that is signed, and every life we protect in her name.

02

Her Legacy

A legacy is not built in grand gestures. It is built in quiet moments of kindness, in choosing to show up even when it is hard, and in the seeds you plant in the lives of others. Guiddalthie planted seeds everywhere she went: through faith, service, laughter, and love. She left a mark that time cannot erase. GG's Movement Inc. was born to tend those seeds until they grow into a world that is safer, kinder, and more compassionate.

03

Our Movement

Her light now belongs to all of us. This movement is not defined by grief. It is fueled by purpose and by the unshakeable belief that together we can prevent another family from facing this heartbreak. Every pledge signed, every young person reached, every awareness event held is a promise that Guiddalthie's story will save lives. We rise together and we move forward together.

Why We Exist

On Thanksgiving night, a drunk driver in South Florida took Guiddalthie from us. That moment is the reason this movement exists, and the reason it will never stop.

Parents who have lost children to drunk driving carry a grief that never fully leaves. Our Parent Impact Advocacy program gives those families a platform, provides grief resources, and channels pain into purpose. We work with parents to share their stories, influence local policy conversations, and connect families who understand loss from the inside. No parent should walk this road alone.

Grief is not linear and it is not meant to be carried alone. Our support groups meet regularly and are open to parents, siblings, children, and friends affected by impaired driving loss. These are judgment-free spaces where people can share, cry, laugh, and begin to heal. Facilitated by trained volunteers who have walked through loss themselves. Both adults and youth are welcome.
